Background

WellsboroFootball.com was started in August 2006 from a vision by former assistant coach Ed Weaver. Ed always wanted the chance to view his season statistics, but did not have the option. As a way of giving back, Ed is hoping to get recognition for the Wellsboro Football program by making statistics, scores, and information available to the local community, college recruiters, and football fans throughout the world.

By advertising on WellsboroFootball.com, your business will be supporting a great athletic program while being promoted to the website's growing number of visitors, both locally and across the globe. In addition to providing game and player statistics, photo galleries, and other website features, WellsboroFootball.com has teamed together with some of the area's most respected news outlets (Wellsboro Gazette, Towanda Daily Review, Williamsport Sun Gazette) to bring website visitors the most up-to-date news about the Wellsboro Football program and other local teams throughout the Northern Tier League and District 4.

How is Advertising Revenue Spent?

All revenue generated from advertising will go directly to the program to fund camps, special events, equipment purchases, senior gifts, end-of-season highlight videos, and the end-of-season banquet. Senior members of the program are also eligible to receive a $500 scholarship from the Wellsboro Gridders Club towards his continuing education goals.

What Types of Advertising are Available?

Advertising on WellsboroFootball.com is available in three types; Block Ads, Page Banner Advertising, and Section Sponsorships.

Block Ad Information

Block Ad advertising is the most popular form of advertising on WellsboroFootball.com. All ads must be 160 pixels wide by 160 pixels tall. Ads will appear randomly throughout the site along with left-hand side of the page below the navigation links. All ads will include the business or organization's logo and a link to their website (if available). The cost per ad is $100.00 per year.

Page Banner Information

Page Banner Advertising includes a block 655 pixels wide by 75 pixels tall, and includes a direct web link (if available). The cost per ad is $225.00 per year for advertising on the home page and $175.00 per year for advertising on inside pages.

Section Sponsorship Information

Section Sponsorship Advertising on the Boxscore and Game Highlights pages will each include a 655 pixels wide x 40 pixels tall block. The cost per ad is $150.00 per year.
