Coaches Comments
Throughout the season, Cliff was faced with numerous obstacles on and off the field. I can remember a time in summer camp when Cliff became so frustrated with himself that he just had to laugh. During week six, Cliff became ill and struggled for the remainder of the season working hard to become healthy. It was during these times that I noticed that character in Cliff Wood. Cliff is an outstanding young man that played the game because he had a love for the game. Cliff didn't always play in game situations, but Cliff always practiced very hard and was always the first person in practice pushing other players to become better. It is for this reason that Cliff was invaluable to our football team. Cliff, you have tremendous potential, and if your passion for being successful in life is half of what your passion for playing football is, I have complete confidence that you will be successful. Always remember that with hard work, great things will come. Good luck!
