Coaches Comments
Shawn has what I consider as a breakout year. For the past three seasons, the coaching staff has hounded Shawn to do things better in a game. For us to have success in 2004, we needed Shawn to improve overall as an athlete and more importantly, as a football player. In 2004, Shawn made big plays and never gave up. Shawn would always contribute positively to all situations and always seemed to care about our younger athletes in the program. Shawn was always the first guy on the field for practice and always showed a great love for the game. It is this love for the game and passion for getting better that Shawn can take with him into the future. Shawn, keep working hard and remember the passion for the game is equally important in the real world. Good luck!
