Coaches Comments
Attitude and determination are two words I would use to describe the play of Cameron Hubbard in 2005. Cameron thrived on making "big plays" and always seemed to come through. Cameron proved to be one of the best receivers in the league with great catches in key situations. I look back at the Canton game where Cameron had 3 catches for 84 yards, none more important than the winning touchdown with 4 seconds remaining on the clock. In my mind, Cameron brings something to the game that is not teachable and is very important, that is very soft hands and great athleticism. On many occasions, I had no idea how he could make the catch, but he always seemed to bring it in. What I liked most about Cameron was that he always wanted the ball. Each time he came off the field he would say, "I can take that guy, he is nothing." Cameron, I hope you can carry this attitude on with you in the future. Your attitude is great and you have served as a great role model for young athletes within our program. I wish we could have had you for 4 years. Good luck!
