Bio

Tim Shaw is the son of Don and Deb Shaw. Tim was a member of the Hornets from 2003 to 2006, and was involved with the program since 4th grade. Along with football, Tim was also a member of the Hornet basketball and baseball teams. In 2005, Tim was a 2nd team NTL Safety in football, and was also voted Outstanding Player of the year in both football and baseball. Tim also participated in Eagle Scouts, Chorus, and National Honor Society while in high school.

Coaches Comments

In 2005, Tim was named to the NTL All Star team as a strong safety. During the same year, Tim received the Most Valuable Player award, and was elected as a team captain for the past two seasons. In 2006, Tim was selected as a pre-season player to watch in the NTL and Twin Tiers. Throughout the past four seasons, Tim has had many accomplishments. Throughout his career, Tim will have passed for over 2,000 yards and will have run for over 1,000 yards. Besides having outstanding numbers, Tim is a versatile football player that played many important roles. For this reason, Tim will have the opportunity to play at the next level, and it is without a doubt that he will find himself having success due to his dedication, determination, and willingness to do whatever he has to do the be the best. I could only hope that our younger athletes can mirror Tim's attitude on and off the field. Not only is Tim a great athlete, but most important, he is a great person. Good luck!
