Bio
Colton Acorn is the son of Timothy and Mirna Acorn. Colton was a member of the Hornets from 2005 to 2007 after moving to Wellsboro before the start of his Sophomore year. In addition to football, Colton was also a member of the Hornet Varsity Basketball team.
Colton is currently attending the Pennsylvania College of Technology majoring in welding and playing basketball for the Wildcats.
Coaches Comments
It was obvious from the start of the 2007 that Colton was serious about the game of football and even more serious about the success of the team. Entering the season, Colton was mentioned in the pre-season players to watch list in the Twin-Tiers as well as the NTL. With that said, Colton did not disappoint. Throughout 10 games in 2007, Colton compiled 560 yards receiving with 33 catches and 7 touchdowns. Defensively,Colton recorded 30 solo tackles, 8 assists, 9 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries for touchdowns. I can honestly say that Colton became a great football player throughout the course of the 2007 season. He was fun to watch and had a great attitude. I wish Colton the best of luck in the future and hope he can continue in life with his great attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed. Good luck!
