Bio

Cameron Jones is the son of Jeff and Sally Jones. Cameron was a member of the Hornets from 2005 to 2008, and participated in football for eight years. In addition to football, Cameron was also a member of the Hornet varsity Basketball and Baseball teams.

Cameron currently attends Grove City College and in his free time, enjoys playing piano, guitar, drums, and bass. He also sings on his own, as well as in church. Cameron is involved in youth group and likes to hunt.

Coaches Comments

In 2007, Cameron was named to the 2nd team NTL. In 2008, Cameron was selected as a player to watch in the NTL and All Twin Tiers. Throughout the 2008 season, Cameron passed for over 1,300 yards with 12 touchdowns. Throughout his career, Cameron passed for over 2,700 yards. Besides having outstanding numbers, Cameron is a versatile football player who played many important roles. In addition to being an outstanding football player, Cameron is a great leader. Cameron's attitude is second to none and his ability to lead as a captain of the football team in 2008 was outstanding. As a leader on the field, Cameron played his best during pressure situations and helped lead his team to a 7-4 record in 2008. Cameron's dedication, determination, and willingness to do whatever he has to do to be the best was very obvious in 2008. I could only hope that our younger athletes can mirror Cameron's attitude on and off the field. Cameron is a great athlete, but most importantly, he is a great person. Good luck!
