Bio
Corey Stevens is the son of John and Donna Stevens. Corey was a member of the Hornets in 2008 and participated in football for five years.
In his free time, Corey likes to play football and basketball with his friends and his a big fan of fantasy football.
Coaches Comments
When it comes to playing the game of football, overcoming adversity is always important throughout the course of a game and/or season. Corey was a player who always seemed to help his teammates overcome adversity. It didn't seem to matter what was going on in the game, Corey always played the game with consistency and didn't need to say a word for others to know what he was thinking. Corey returned to football in 2008 after not playing during his sophomore and junior seasons. Corey recorded 40 tackles on the year in 2008 and worked very hard throughout the season. I think if you asked Corey today what was one of his biggest regrets, he would tell you not playing football all four years in high school. I know from a coach's perspective it sure would have been nice to have him four years because he did an outstanding job in 2008. I wish we could have had you for a few more years because you have shown signs of greatness within the course of this football season. Good luck!
