Bio
Garrett Stager is the son of Jim and Kelli Stager. Garrett was a member of the Hornets in 2006 and 2008, and participated in football for six years. Besides playing football, Garrett is also a member of the Hornet Basketball and Baseball teams.
Garrett currently attends Susquehanna University. In his free time, Garrett enjoys hunting.
Coaches Comments
In 2008, Garrett had what I consider as a breakout year. Garrett had 21 catches for 490 yards with 5 touchdowns. Garrett's average/catch was 23.3 yards and his ability to run routes was second to none in the NTL. I can remember Garrett returning to our summer practices after taking a year off from football and what a relief it was to know we had a threat at receiver again after losing our receiver to graduation in 2007. The thing I most liked about Garrett was the improvement he showed from week to week throughout the season. Garrett continuously got better and better and in our final home game against North Penn we had the opportunity to put Garrett one-on-one against a North Penn defender and we took advantage of it. Garrett's efforts on the field each and every day were important to the team in 2008 and your contributions to a successful season were greatly appreciated. Good luck!
