Bio

Jared DeBlois is the son of Dave and Darla DeBlois. Jared was a member of the Hornets in 2005, 2007, and 2008 and has participated in football for seven years. Jared moved to Wellsboro in 1998 from Philadelphia. Since the move, Jared has been working on farms, and has acquired a love for working on and with tractors and other types of farm equipment. In addition to football, Jared was also a member of the Hornet Baseball team.

Jared currently attends Carini College majoring in Sports and Exercise Science. In his free time, Jared enjoys hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, and hanging out with his friends and family.

Coaches Comments

Jared is a perfect example of a team player. When it comes to playing the game of football, overcoming adversity is always important throughout the course of a game and/or season. Jared was a player who always seemed to help his teammates overcome adversity. Jared was always at a disadvantage on the offensive line due to his size. With that said, Jared never complained one time and always seemed to just get the job done. It didn't seem to matter what was going on in the game, Jared always played the game with consistency and didn't need to say a word for others to know what he was thinking. For this reason, Jared is a role model to our younger athletes for his willingness to do whatever it takes to help his team. As a coach it was always nice having an athlete like Jared around because you could count on him to get the job done no matter what. Jared's attitude is second to none and I wish Jared the best of luck in the future.
