Bio

Pat Driebelbies is the son of John and Ruby Driebelbies and Christine Engel. Pat was a member of the Hornets from 2005 to 2008, and participated in football for seven years. In addition to football, Pat was also a member of the Hornet Baseball team where he pitched and played first base. Pat was selected to the NTL All-Star Baseball team in 2006 for his hard work and determination.

In his free time, Pat likes to hunt, fish, and go camping.

Coaches Comments

Pat was a four-year starter for the Hornets and in 2008 joined the 1,000-yard rushing club for the Hornets. In 2007, Pat was named to the 1st team NTL and All-Twin Tiers Team. In 2008, Pat was selected as a player to watch in the NTL and All Twin Tiers. In the 2008 season alone, Pat rushed for 1,009 yards on 170 attempts and averaged 5.9 yards/carry. Pat was tied for second on the team in scoring with 42 points and recorded 49 tackles, 2 caused fumbles, and 1 sack. In 2008 Pat proved to be an outstanding football player and an even better person. Throughout Pat's career he never missed a single practice and always worked hard to become better each week. Throughout Pat's career he became a fine young man. I can remember Pat in ninth grade when he was much smaller and didn't always make the right decisions. As I look back on his four years of football, Pat became a young man that played the game to the best of his ability and always gave it his best. Pat's attitude is second to none and for that reason I believe Pat will experience great success in life. Good luck!
