Senior Football Players
Joe Andrews - OL/DL
As one of this year's captains, Joe was an intense football player. His love of the game could easily be seen by his style of play. If the game had required it of him, Joe would have continued to battle until he was the last man standing.
Tony Blair - OL/DL
As a dependable special teams performer, Tony hung tough through football's demands of daily conditioning and remained a valuable contributor to the Wellsboro Football Program for 3 years.
Paul Button - OL/DL
As an intense, hardworking player, Paul was an overachiever on the offensive and defensive line despite being outweighed by many of his opponents. No Wellsboro player will forget his hit against Warrior Run.
Pete Coolidge - WR/DB
As a reliable pass receiver, Pete made many exciting touchdown grabs and several bone crushing crack-back blocks. Pete was an important part of the team.
Nate Debockler - FB/LB
As a hard hitting, speedy linebacker and fullback, Nate was a coachable player whose love of the game was evident by his intense approach and his indispensable value to the team.
Bart Doud - TE/LB
As a dependable outside linebacker and tight end, Bart made many valuable contributions and is appreciated for his efforts.
Shane Mascho - RB/DB
As an exciting, big-play player, Shane will be remembered for his ability to turn a small crack in the opponent's line into a touchdown run.
Jesse May - TE/DL
As another exciting, big-play player, Jesse made the first touchdown of the 1998 Campaign and led the team in quarterback sacks.
Tim Neal - FB/LB
As a hard-nosed player, Tim may be remembered by the remarks he would make during the daily team stretch, but Tim will also be remembered as a hard-hitting player willing to play any position in order to contribute to the success of the team.
Travis Rawson - OL/DL
As the steady anchor of our line, Travis displayed the main quality of a fine student-athlete. When he put the football helmet on, Travis displayed intensity and desire while making many great blocks and tackles, but when he took the helmet off, he conducted himself as a gentleman.
Jarred Regina - QB/DB
As a quarterback, defensive back, and captain, Jerred was an intense competitor that entered every game expecting that he would find a way to make something good happen out on the field... often he did.
Derrick Watters - RB/LB
As one of our captains, Derrick was a sure-handed receiver, a reliable punter, and a tremendous representative of Wellsboro football who conducted himself with class on and off the field.
Brad Wilson - OL/LB
As the final captain, Brad made many big plays and served as a coach-on-the-field by directing our defense and calling our defensive signals.
