Wellsboro Hornets

Coach MorralAlthough wins and losses most often indicate winners and losers, I see all our senior athletes as winners. To most of them, being a part of a team was more important to them than choosing to pursue other opportunities.

In life, there will be days when winning seems impossible and losing seems inevitable. During those times I encourage you to keep pushing forward and never give up. It is always during those times of adversity when great things can happen.

Individually, each of you will be faced with times of adversity. I want each athlete to remember one thing. "You're always working to play a perfect game, but you're never going to achieve it and play that perfect game. Out on the field you never know which play is going to be that one that can change the complexion of the game. You've just got to play every playto the best of your ability. You should look back, even though you didn't win every game and everything didn't go your way, still having no regrets about how you performed and how hard you worked at it.

I wish these young men the best of luck in all future endeavors and wish them the best of luck in the most important game of all, LIFE!

And remember, you will not always play that perfect game, but play every play to the best of your ability and you will have no regrets.
