Follow up from last meeting
Coach Steve Boyce is working out the details. Will have more information first part of June.
It was voted to sell these for $35.00 each. Order forms will come out after players are aware of what their numbers are as numbers will be placed on the jersey.
Wendy Smith spoke with Brett Hamblin about the wrestling team selling us their clings at their cost. It was voted and passed that Gridders will purchase these from Brett, then order more from The Sign Shop. We will look to sell these at various times throughout the year. It was voted and passed that small clings will sell for $4.00 and larger clings will sell for $5.00 (there is a limited supply of the larger clings).

The essays were reviewed in the manner described on the application. Voting was confidential and a candidate was selected. This will be announced at the All-Sports Booster Club Banquet scheduled for June 5, 2012.
Football Camp Menu
Lisa Pietropola has graciously agreed to plan the menu again for this year's football camp.
Anyone needing a ride should plan to be at the old H.S. parking lot by 4:00 p.m. on May 30, 2012. Please do not forget the registration form and $10.00 fee. It is recommended that the players wear something with "Wellsboro" on it.
Solicitation of funds from Gas Company
Debbi Cooper sent a letter to the Shell corporate office. Also, her local contact indicated that there is still a possibility for a donation. This will likely take another 30 days for a decision.
There are no outstanding checks. Balance is $6,517.76.
The banners are finished. Per Debbi Cooper they need to be hemmed, dowel rods painted, and some sort of string attached. Debbi will do one sample banner to show at the next meeting.
T-Shirts for credit completion
These will be provided to both the M.S. and H.S. players. The total cost is approximately $608.00. We will have about 20 shirts left over and these will be available for sale after all players have received their shirts. This was voted on and passed to move forward in ordering the shirts. These will be ordered by Coach Boyce.
Lance mentioned that the price of pork has substantially increased. We need to see if we can purchase a pig locally. Cindy Gamble has a contact that she will check with.
Sandy and Mark mentioned that we should seek food donations from local restaurants. We will revisit this as we get closer to the tournament. Also we will look for a committee to help with various parts of the tournament.
Coach Boyce wants all players to wear a shirt and tie to the event.
Possible future fundraiser
Per coach there is a possibility of moving the North Penn home game to Saturday Nov 3rd and having an alumni football game on the practice field prior to the Varsity game. If this works out we can have a chicken BBQ and sell 50/50 tickets. Also, Sandy mentioned the possibility of hosting an after game dance for the Alumni at a location off site. We will revisit this at a future meeting.
There have been changes to the schedule. Changes will need to be made to the brochure and the website.
End of year banquet
Sandy will touch base with the seniors to have them vote on what their preference would be to have a banquet or an awards ceremony.
Summer Practice begins each Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. beginning June 10th (with the exception of June 17th because of Father's Day). Coach Boyce will be providing the players with an informational flyer that notes when practice is, the schedule for speed camp, 7-on-7, and various other activities that will be coming up. Coach John Johnston will hold a lineman training day.
The date of the car wash is June 2, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Advance Auto Parts.
Laurel Festival Parking (June 16th)
Jill will be scheduling times for festival parking. If anyone has any availability please let Jill know.
