Captains Announced
August 15, 2007 Ed WeaverThe 2007 Hornet squad has selected its captains for the upcoming season. The team chose Seniors Colton Acorn, Chris Copp, and Will Cornell to lead the team.

Upcoming Week Announcements
August 4, 2007 Ed WeaverWith camp less than two weeks away, the coaches and staff are preparing for another successful season. Players will have the week of August 6-10 off to recover from the Lycoming College team camp, and to start focusing on the upcoming season. The two main dates for the week are equipment pickup and the Athletic Department meeting.
The Hornets are Back in Town
August 3, 2007 Ed WeaverThe 2007 Wellsboro Hornet squad is now back home from their week-long stay at Lycoming College. This year, the Hornets were able to install much of their offensive and defensive game plans, as well as spend time together as a group. Throughout the week, the Hornets were able to work on fundamentals and techniques with Lycoming position coaches, as well as go up against other teams in scrimmages.

Preparing for Camp
July 25, 2007 Ed WeaverAttention athletes and parents, it is time to start preparing for the Lycoming Team Camp. In addition to bringing lots of shirts, shorts, and toiletries, athletes should also try to bring extra food, water and/or Gatorade, and money.

Time to Go Camping
July 12, 2007 Ed WeaverIt is time to start planning and preparing for the upcoming football season. A major component of our preparation is our trip to the Warrior Team Football Camp held at Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA. The coaching staff considers this week of intense preparation, team bonding, and fun away from the distractions of home as important as anything we do in preparaition for a successful 2007 campaign. Each athlete in grades 9-12 planning to play football should attend this camp!
