Middle School Hornets Pick Up First Win

The Wellsboro Middle School team picked up its first win Wednesday night at Cowanesque Valley as they defeated the Indians,12-8. Levi Mack and Wyatt Covert ran the ball well, and Dylan Prough ran the option effectively. Prough threw two touchdown passes, one to Levi Mack and one to Mike Pietropola.
The defense came together, played as a team, and sealed the victory for as Prough intercepted a pass with about a minute to play in the game. The Middle School tam will be in action next Wednesday when they travel to South Williamsport. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m.
