Hornets hire new Athletic Director.
On Tuesday, May 8, the Wellsboro School Board approved the hire of Matt Rendos as the new Athletic Director at Wellsboro High School. Rendos, who is currently a Guidance Counselor at the High School, will be taking over immediately for former AD Sherri Prough.

To request pictures, please download Robin's picture order form, fill it out, and send it in to request your picture.
2012-13 Sports Physicals.
It is that time of year again where we need to have ALL student athletes get their physicals for the 2012-2013 school year. Any High School student wishing to participate in a Fall, Winter, and Spring sport MUST get a physical. These physicals are offered free of charge to ALL student athletes and will occur on May 24, 2012 and May 29, 2012 during the school day.
Barnes signs with Juniata.
Senior Running Back Chase Barnes signed his letter of intent on Wednesday to play football at Juniata College in the fall. Barnes, a two-time captain and Coaches Award winner, is looking forward to getting his collegiate career started.
Jared Hurlbert hired by Brockway.
Wellsboro Varsity assistant football coach Jared Hurlbert has been officially hired by Brockway. Hurlbert, a member of Wellsboro's graduating class of 2001, has been involved with the Wellsboro program for the past four years. Before being hired as a Varsity assistant in 2011, Jared spent the prior three years helping out in the Small Fry program. In addition to coaching, Jared is the single-season interception leader in the Wellsboro Varsity Record Books with nine during the 2000 season*.
