Two breaks gigured prominently in Friday night's game with Troy winning.

Troy capitalized on a blocked punt in the first quarter and a recovered fumble in the second period in Troy Friday night to down Wellsboro 12-0 in a non-league scholastic football contest.

Early in the first quarter, guard Bob Bruce picked up a blocked Wellsboro punt on the losers' one-yard line and easily scampered over lor the score. Linebacker Bill Esias set it up for Bruce, blocking the kick.

With four minutes left in the first half, lineman Ron Whillock fell on a Wellsboro fumble on the loser's 47-yard line to set up the second Troy score.

Quarterback Evan Williams climaxed a touchdown march with a 10 yard run around left end.

Troy picked up 159 yards on the ground and 69 in the air, Wellsboro getting 26 on the ground and 97 through the air. It was Troy's fourth victory in five contests.
