Warner leads Wyalusing over Wellsboro, 14-0.

Don Warner scored both Wyalusing touchdowns as the Rams downed Wellsboro's Green Hornet football team Friday night, 14-0.
With just under three minutes left in the half, Warner capped a drive, pounding over from one yard out. The extra point was good and Wyalusing took a 7-0 lead into the lockerroom.
The third period was scoreless with both defensive units playing exceptionally well.
In the fourth period, Warner put the game on ice when he intercepted a pass thrown into the flat and raced 32 yards untouched into the end zone. The score came with about 2:00 left in the game.
Wellsboro is now 2-1 in league play and overall. Wyalusing is 3-2 overall and 1-0 in league action.
This Saturday the Hornets host Cowanesque Valley at 2:00 p.m. It is the Homecoming game for Wellsboro.
