Jamie Jones returned to action last Friday night for the Wellsboro Green Hornets and rushed for enough yards to make up for his absence because of injury in the previous game. Jones rushed for 200 yards to lift visiting Wellsboro over Sayre, 15-6.
Warrior Run has Wellsboro's number again.
For the second straight year, Warrior Run has upended the Green Hornets in non-league play by amassing a high powered offensive attack. Last year Warrior Run dumped the Hornets in Wellsboro. This year they beat them in a last minute heartbreaker at Warrior Run by a one point, 26-25, margin.

The Wellsboro Green Hornet Football team traveled to South Williamsport last Friday night where the undefeated Mountaineers put on a show of strength for their homecoming at Rodney K. Morgans Stadium by soundly defeating the visitors, 41-13.

The Wellsboro Green Hornets got back on the winning track last Friday night when they defeated the Towanda Black Knights at home 35-7.
