Troy falls at Jersey Shore.

Jersey Shore scored 21 first-quarter points on their way to a win over the Troy Trojans on Friday night, 48-7.

Elijah Shemory started the scoring for Jersey Shore with a 12-yard touchdown pass to Koby Peacock. Cameron Griffin hit the extra point at 9:50 of the first quarter.

Kyle Tomb scored on a 7-yard run at 3:45 and Griffin hit the kick. Shemory threw a 17-yard touchdown to Hunter Frantz at 3:29 and Griffin hit the kick.

Clark Jackson got Troy on the board with a 1-yard run at 8:43 of the second quarter and Seldon Rogers hit the extra point.

Shemory had his third touchdown pass — a 20-yarder to Peacock at 6:47 and Griffin hit the kick.

Tomb had a 1-yard run and Griffin hit the kick at 5:44. Shemory threw his fourth touchdown with 11:21 left in the game to Frantz and Griffin hit the kick. Mason Sechrist scored on a 6-yard run with 6:55 left and the kick was blocked.

Jackon threw for 45 yards on 6-for-15 passing for Troy. Rogers had two catches for 21 yards and Ja Wallace, Tyler Williams, Michael Borden and Bailey Cohick had catches.

Shemory was 15-for-27 passing for 241 yards and four touchdowns. Frantz had seven catches for 142 yards and two scores and Peacock had 66 yards on five catches with two scores.

Cohick ran for 40 yards for Troy and Williams ran for 42 on 17 carries. Jackson ran for 19 yards.

Tomb ran for 243 yards and two touchdowns on 32 carries for Jersey Shore.

Wallace and Jackson intercepted passes for Troy.
