Bio
Coach Johnston is entering his fourth year coaching football for the Hornets. Coach Johnston is a recent graduate from Lycoming College, where he majored in Psychology. While at Lycoming, Coach Johnston played football for four years on the offensive line at center where he earned four varsity letters and was also recognized for his hard work and dedication.
Before college, Coach Johnston was a standout offensive and defensive lineman at Wellsboro. Coach Johnston played as a Freshman, and started the rest of his three years on both the offensive and defensive line. Coach Johnston was captain of the Hornets his Senior year, and has received many awards including the All Twin-Tiers team, the Wiliamsport Sun Gazette First Team All-Area, and the and District 4 All-Star Team during his Senior season.
Coach Johnston currently lives in the Wellsboro area and works at Chip's Carpet and More. Coach Johnston looks forward to building a solid offensive and defensive line for another year and giving back to the community that has given him so much.
