Athlete Bio

Chase Barnes is the son of Charlie and Jen Barnes. Chase was a member of the Hornets from 2008 to 2012 where he participated in football, basketball, and track. Chase grew up in Missouri and moved Wellsboro in his his Freshman year.

During his four years of football Chase earned the NTL's Honorable Mention for Linebackers and Fullback, the Coaches Award, and was chosen as a Team Captain two years in a row.

While keeping busy with sports and academics, (Distinguished Honor Roll, National Honor Society), Chase also attends Mansfield University, is a Sunday School teacher, an Eagle Scout, is/has been involved in HOBY Leadership, Inside Outside Leadership training, Connectors Plus, Peer Mentoring, Year Book, is co-president of the Student Council, and received the Presidential Service Award for community service.

After graduation, Chase will attend Juniata College to play football and plans on majoring in Political Science.
